Barbara Streisand is a mixed media work I made in 2013. The style was directly appropriated from the character LUCY WHO PAINTS PORTRAITS OF BARBARA STREISAND, played by Christina Ricci in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The nose and Lucky Strike cigarette were added later. At the time I was interested in internet whimsy and the randomness of google image searches.
